Davisville

Port of Davisville, Rhode Island

The Port of Davisville, nestled within the Quonset Business Park in North Kingstown, Rhode Island, lies strategically at the mouth of Narragansett Bay. As the state’s only public seaport, it serves as a major gateway for automobile imports, frozen seafood, project cargo, and offshore wind components, consistently ranking among the top ten auto ports in North America. Spread over approximately 235 acres with two 1,200 ft piers, a 32 ft deep channel, and about 4,500 ft of berthing space, it offers extensive laydown areas and on dock rail via Seaview Railroad. Recently, the port has undergone multimillion-dollar upgrades—new heavy lift cranes, pier modernization, and Blue Economy docks—bolstering its capacity for offshore wind and heavy cargo operations.
