Ms. Stefancic joined LOGISTEC Corporation in 1997 in this newly created position and, with her team manages all of the legal affairs of the company. For over 25 years, Ingrid has taken over the helm of corporate governance – seeking sound approaches to putting compliance, respect and integrity at the heart of the LOGISTEC family. She oversees compliance with regulatory requirements as a publicly-traded company, manages and oversees mergers and acquisitions, contract and lease negotiations with suppliers, clients and port authorities, all insurance matters, trademarks, litigation files and current operating issues. Ms. Stefancic is the Secretary of LOGISTEC Corporation, as well as all of its subsidiaries. She is also the company’s Compliance Officer, Privacy Officer and Disclosure Coordinator.

Prior to joining LOGISTEC, Ms. Stefancic was in private practice as a business law/real estate lawyer for 10 years with two major law firms. She was also a professor at the Québec Bar School, in the Business Law Section, for four years and published over 30 articles. She was an active member of the community while sitting on boards for various hospitals and educational institutions.

Ms. Stefancic is a graduate of Laval University where she earned a Civil Law degree and was called to the Québec Bar in 1986. She is also a Fellow and Accredited Director of the Chartered Governance Institute (“CGI”), an international organization focused on corporate governance. She has sat on the board of its Canadian division for the past 10 years, and was appointed its Past President in June 2023. She Chaired its Governance and Admissions Committee for several years, was a Vice-President on its Executive and Financial Committee, and was its President for two years. In 2019, she received the Canadian Division’s CGI Distinguished Professional Service Award for her outstanding leadership, contribution and dedication to the profession of Chartered Secretary. She was formerly president of the Québec branch of the CGI for six years. Ms. Stefancic was awarded the 2020 Lawyers Monthly Women in Law Award for Corporate Law in Canada.
