Logistec Stevedoring Ontario has added two new locations to its cargo-handling network along the Great Lakes St. Lawrence Seaway System.

Port Weller and Ramey’s Bend are strategically located along the Welland Canal, and offer a spacious laydown area, easy access for large vessels, flexible working hours, and convenient access for trucking companies. Both sites are within 140 kilometres (90 miles) of Toronto and 32 kilometres (20 miles) of Niagara Falls and the land border with the United States.

“These locations are ideally suited for bulk, break-bulk, and project cargo such as wind energy components. These additional facilities within the Highway H2O network will help us provide our customers with options to bring their cargo closer to end markets,” says Shawn McMahon, General Sales Manager, General Cargo at Logistec. “Throughout our growing network of terminals, we strive to customize our services and make logistics as seamless, efficient, and economical as possible for our clients.”
