Madeleine Paquin, President and CEO of Logistec, came in 11th place on the annual W100 ranking of Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneurs, produced by PROFIT and Canadian Business.

“I am honoured to once again be a part of the W100, and to share this award with a group of dedicated businesswomen,” Ms. Paquin said. “We are all very passionate about our businesses, and there is never one ‘smart move’ that puts a company ahead. To grow sustainably year after year, you need a solid development plan and a great team to execute it.”

Now in its 18th year, the W100 ranking of Canada’s top female entrepreneurs is based on a composite score that takes into account the size, growth rate, and profitability of the companies they own and manage. Ms. Paquin ranked first on the list and was named Canada’s Top Female Entrepreneur in 1999, and has been a member of the W100 every year since then.

“The members of the 2016 W100 each possess the talent and tenacity to start and grow a successful business,” said James Cowan, Editor-in‐chief of PROFIT and Canadian Business. “Their remarkable achievements serve as proof that ambitious, risk-taking female entrepreneurs are integral to the growth of the Canadian economy.”

A full list of W100 honourees is published in the June issue of Canadian Business and online at Chatelaine.com. The W100 is Canada’s largest celebration of achievement by women business owners.
